Scottish Master Photographer of the Year Award 2009!

It still feels surreal that I have just been awarded Scotland’s top photography award at the Master Photographers Association’s annual awards night held just outside Edinburgh, i.e. the “Scottish Master Photographer of the Year.”
This was accompanied for the second year running by the Overall Winner’s title in the “Animal and Pets” category along with 6 other Category Titles including the “Monochrome” and “Open Award” categories. The awards were judged by top photographers, Bella West and Simon John, both Fellows of this professional photography organisation. To say I’m delighted is an understatement. The image below of a Hungarian Vizla named “Hugo” represents just one of these award winning images.
