Pets and animals undoubtedly feel more relaxed in familiar surroundings or in the open environment and will contribute more of their natural character to the session. Take an animal to a strange place and it's likely to misbehave or not be in a relaxed frame of mind! Therefore, animal psychology plays a key part in the photo shoot and an understanding is fundamental to capturing the animal looking relaxed and how you would typically remember them.
